Crocheted Blanket

I would consider myself a novice in crocheting, but despite this, I decided I was ready to take on a big project.  I made myself a blanket, using a method of crocheting 121 squares and piecing them together. This was very time consuming, but I am very happy with the results. Take a look at the finished product:
